To install hair we used a U-shaped metallic pin. I placed one thread at a time in it and pulled it through the selected hole from the inside.
The other thread was put through another hole that was the nearest possible one
When there was more than 50 threads inserted (the first 3 rows on the forehead), it was very uncumfortable to hold the mask on the table, so I insurted two pods through the eyeholes (don't worry, it's jst a foam, so no damage to inner perimeter of eyes).
While the hair filled the top area, the threads became to be placed more randomly - I need to place tham in certaindistance, same time thinking about where to place another upcommind 4-8 threads. Same time there was different thread thickness (some threads was made of more hair, some - of less). And I combined them (if not, the hair whould be too irregulary or there will be too heavy haircut)
From time to time the threads was secured with hot glue.
The back openning was haired with the same manner. It wasn't also so easy: the nomber of holes was decreasing, and I need to pre-think 3-6 steps forward to place the threads correct.
This is the closeup of hair roots. Isn't it perfect? Haha!
The last step was to cut the hair ends to make shure there won't be ugly threads out and the hairdo will look acurate. The mask was held upside down, the hair fell and I acurated them with skissors.
The whole process took 2 days and around 350 threads was placed where them was to be.
